NYFW: Jason Wu

Wu had a lot of fun making this collection. Making it quite colorful (pink, electric blue) in contrast with the palette we have seen in almost every show (white, beige, nude), Wu made the details the protagonists of the collection. From over sized bows to sheer fabrics, the collection flows perfectly, following minimalist silhouettes but always conscious of the importance of the female body. The magnificence of the details, for example the flower pattern in some dresses, the two colored ruffles, the circle shades, the use, not abuse of sheerness and the perfection of the tailored black and white jacket made this collection a pretty unique one, giving as a result a much more consolidated Wu.
