Fashion pictures of the week

A very quick post with my favorite fashion pictures of this week's editorials. Sorry if it's too short but you can enjoy my other posts in Vogue MX, this week: 4 fashion exhibitions you can't miss. Oh! and if you're passing by, don't forget to leave a comment, I would love to hear what you want to read there.

For next week I have in mind a great post about my favorite collections of IDM FW11. If you haven't seen anything yet go now to CoolhunterMX, they're doing the best job, reviewing all the collections, having backstage exclusives and livestreaming some of the shows. And of course, don't forget to congratulate my dear friend NeonDelirium, he has taken the most amazing pictures and I'm excessively proud of him.

IDM livestreams: CoolhunterMX

If I could be there I would. Tomorrow starts IDM, one of the most important events of fashion in Mexico City. With four days and 27 collections, this edition of IDM is expected to be one of the best. And of course, I'm very happy to tell you that CoolhunterMX is a part of this big event, being the official media website of IDM. Backstages, reviews, photographs and exclusive content will be uploaded during the next few days. But the best part is that CoolhunterMX, with the collaboration of Apolorama, will be livestreaming some of the fashion shows, something never done before in Mexico. I wish to all of the CoolhunterMX team the best of luck, you know I would have loved to be there.

Don't miss the first show tomorrow at 4 pm, the new designers in NIDM, here.

Last month I was at Cibeles Fashion Week for the Ana Locking show. I've been so busy I haven't posted the photographs I took but I will soon. Here is a photo of the shoes I wore for that day, a four tone sandals from Zara. Now I'm dying for warm weather so I can ware them without socks. You like them?

Crystal Renn for Vogue MX

Crystal Renn for Vogue Mexico April 11 by David Roemer. Images via FGR

It was not long ago when I was talking about Crystal Renn and how she has redefined the stereotypes in the fashion industry. A lot have said that she has surrendered to the industry's pressure but I think I'll stay with the version that she is now the woman she's always wanted to be and she is pretty much happy with her weight and looks. Now we are seeing her landing her first cover in a Vogue magazine, in this case Vogue Mexico. The timing couldn't be better, with Vogue Mexico's redesign of their website and Renn as a cover girl this combinations is perfect. The styling of the editorial is completely colorful and the cover leaves us pretty satisfied for this spring with that lovely look in orange. I think Renn was just the perfect choice.

Vogue MX & MademoiselleKarla

These past few months have been full of work and new projects. I'm happy to finally share with you a collaboration that promises to be extremely exciting. As a part of the redesign of their website, the team at Vogue MX has invited me to collaborate with the new blog section. I am very thrilled to see the amazing changes the website has suffered. New content, new design and a full digital policy will make of Vogue MX a fashion reference online, and I'm more than happy to be part of it. I will be writing (in Spanish) about trends, beauty, editorial and more, so give it a shot, click in the image now!
