This has become one of my favorite shoots. The combination of concepts photographer Pierre Debusschere used for this Another Magazine spread works amazingly well. I’m in love with the combination between clarity and distortion, sometimes fashion is like that, a little bit confusing. The images seem to be taken out from a bad TV broadcasting, but that’s just the signature element of Debusschere, he likes to give something else to the typical beauty in fashion photography, either by blurring, defocusing or drowning the photos in just one hue of color. The styling by Cathy Edwards is amazing as well, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, all showing a very colorful but somehow melancholic Melissa Tammerijn. I wish I could pull off pink or white bangs.
