Two of my favorite Resort 2011 Runways so far were Chanel and Dior. I was thrilled to see that there was some 60’s-70’s inspiration in the looks, the ankle length dresses, the mini dresses with high boots and the floral prints at Chanel, as well as the hair do’s, the make up, and the shades at Dior. At the same time I found the retro photography of Alex Pregers in DazedDigital, which reminded me of Hitchcokian heroines. Can’t say how much I enjoy this retro vibe since I love fashion icons such as Jane Fonda and Brigitte Bardot.
