This are my favorite editorials of the week. Have a nice weekend!
Natalia Vodianova goes Joan of Arc in a golden armor and McQueen feathered dress. The whole editorial is about golden, strength and Vodianova’s amazing look. Photographer Michelangelo di Battista was responsible of this excellent shoot.
Leave to Terry Richardson the inappropriate coolness. His photographs are known for the irreverent content and usually for the sexual references. This spread for Vogue Paris featuring beautiful Freja Beha couldn’t be the exception. Add the styling of Carine Roitfeld and you have the best editorial I’ve seen from Richardson.
Jessica Stam stars this Craig McDean editorial for Vogue Italia. As you might know now, McDean is one of my favorite contemporary photographers in fashion. The blurry treatment of the first picture reflects in a metaphoric way the title of the spread, The Individual Vision. As for the styling, I’m not that much of a fan but give me Kane and Prada glasses and I’m happy.
Everyone who knows about Showstudio obviously knows who’s Nick Knight. And everyone who knows Nick Knight knows he’s all about the black and white high contrasted photography. And this spread is no exception. Seeing Raquel Zimmermann like this , in a bold spread for Vogue UK is the cherry on top.
