Street Style: On Sunny Days...

A month ago, when it felt more like summer than these days full of rain.

Happy 2012!

After waiting 4 hours for a delayed flight I finally arrived to the beach for a well deserved New Year's break. Along with my family and my hubby I had the best New Year's Eve I can think of. The beach, the sun & a very relaxing nap, were the perfect treatment to get ready for the night. It was a wonderful evening and I can't think of anything else I had rather worn than this incredibly beautiful dress made by my dearest friend, Alexino Couture. The organza pleated train made me feel the most elegant girl in the world and I'm sure looking and feeling that good can only mean great things are coming. Thanks to Alex, you're the best and I can't wait to dress another of your designs!

Wish you all the best year of your lives!

Where I've Been part II

So... I'm oficially in Mexico City! I'm very happy to be back, though it feels a little weird and you can start imagining the work it's going to take to unpack everything... still, it's good to be home. I'm very excited to see all of my friends and the forthcoming projects... great season ahead!

I wanted to share with you the last pictures of my trip... enjoy!

Where I've Been....

Barcelona Port. Parc Güell. Mosaicos from Gaudí. La Pedrera. Typewriter/ children's clothes inside La Pedrera. La Sagrada Familia. Ballerina in Pavilion Mies Van der Rohe. Golden shoe-ashtray / El Laboratorio de Balenciaga at Museu des arts decoratifs. Sheer blouse in black with golden choker. Gbenga Adelekan, bassist of Metronomy. Surrealist chandelier. Platja D'Aro.

Sorry for disappearing without saying goodbye but I did a mini euro trip to the north part of Spain, from Barcelona to Oviedo visiting magical places; some were part of Middle Age stories like Castello D'Aro in La Costa Brava, others were more futuristic like the Guggenheim in Bilbao. San Sebastian was the most marvelous beach I've ever been to, the streets, the port, the buildings, there's something special about that place... Platja d'Aro seemed to be a beach from a postcard. I ate rabbit and drank sidra, laughed, got angry, went to an amazing concert, fall down the stairs, took a sunbath, and ended up with the worst tan you could ever imagine (it looks like a bike run over me).

I wanted to share with you all of these experiences and more, the surreal moments and everything I've lived in the past twelve days.... this is just a little piece of it. Soon I'll be back to Mexico even though it makes me a little bit sad leaving Madrid, a city now I love and I always be fond of. Hope you like the photos!
